Infant Program

Infant Programs

Our infant care program is designed for children aged 8 – 24 months, offering high quality care in a developmentally appropriate learning environment designed just for infants. We know how crucial these early years are and our nurturing, experienced educators help infants feel safe and secure and creates a happy transition for the infant into the program.

With children spending a good part of their waking hours under our care, we do realize the importance of our role in their lives. Although, we cannot replace the care of a parent, we strive to provide an environment that is loving and at the same time helps them develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically. Our emphasis on structure and curriculum even in infancy provides our tiny tots with the much needed consistency at the same time promotes a safe and clean environment for your child to explore.

Toddler Program

Toddler Program

Our toddler program offers a stimulating place for these young explorers, one that enhances the age group’s natural curiosity, and the learning experiences are planned to promote each child’s growing independence, social skills, and to build the confidence needed to reach their individual potential and prepare for prekindergarten and beyond.

At Little Footprints, our experienced educators have designed a structured toddler program that encourage sensory exploration and creative expression through experimenting with crayons, paint, water, sand, and modeling dough. Your child will be introduced to numbers, alphabets and shapes. Activities throughout the day focus on building vocabulary, self-help skills and creating friendships. Opportunities for fun and meaningful learning experiences are endless.

Pre-Kindergarten (3-4)

PK3

Prekindergarten (PK3) program at Little Footprints is designed so that your child will constantly be working to master all segments of development while forging friendships and having fun in each creative learning experience. Teachers encourage children to explore and be curious, ask questions, discuss conflicts, and learn how to negotiate with their peers. Our experienced educators help children take that big next step, offering comprehensive curriculum in all key areas: literacy, mathematics, science, social-emotional development, physical development, and the arts.

Additionally, we help children learn the importance of physical activity by focusing on gross motor development, growing healthy bodies, and building self-esteem. And we give them the opportunity to explore the outdoors on the playground and through field trips to new and exciting places.

Pre-Kindergarten (4-5)

PK4

This program is designed to help your child reach his or her greatest potential in all areas including reading and writing skills, math and science concepts, large and small muscle development, and social and emotional development. Our daily routine includes both individual and small group learning experiences within the classroom. Our teachers uniquely plan lessons based on a thematic unit which are reinforced in our various centers throughout the day. Your child will be exposed to interactive, hands on experiences that encourage independence, creative thinking, problem solving and language development.

We also support individual growth, offering each child many opportunities throughout the day to make choices, to be the leader, and to be a team player. Our curriculum stimulates each child’s innate curiosity and exploratory nature to prepare children for lifelong learning. Children move to elementary school socially prepared, excited to learn, and well versed in the language, math, and science skills they’ll need to succeed.

Multi-age Program

Multi-Age Program

This program helps children experience great opportunities for broad social development and deep friendships and an opportunity to participate together in the same program and children can interact with other children of all ages. Such groupings benefit both older and younger children by supporting pro-social behaviors and cognitive development. This programs offers more opportunities for older children to display sympathy and nurturance toward younger children and for younger children to learn from their older peers.

Multi Age program has the “continuity of care” benefit with the potential for children to go through fewer transitions between programs, staying with the same central caregiver throughout their time in the program. Also, the families have one stop drop off for more than one child to stay in the same program with their sibling.

Before & After Care Program

Before After School Program

Our School Age program gives your child a community in which to learn and thrive with convenient care both before and after school, and during Professional day school closures. Our teachers encourage children with a fun and nurturing atmosphere. We understand that school-age children spend most of their time at school juggling assignments, friendships and extracurricular activities. When they are not in a classroom, they crave the freedom to discover the things that interest them most and need the structure to build the essential skills for their futures. Little Footprints helps to continue this learning.
